How My Tennis Setup uses your information
This summary describes the features currently implemented on the site. It will be updated as new services are added.
Information you provide
Your account, player profile, equipment setup, ratings, and written reviews are stored so the site can show your setup and compare feedback from relevant players.
What other people can see
Reviews may show your chosen public name, UTR, playstyle, review metrics, comment, product context, and usage context. Anonymous reviews hide player attribution. Your email and year of birth are not shown publicly.
Location and age signals
City and elevation are optional playing-condition context and do not drive Best for you. Year of birth is optional, remains private, and is used only for age-appropriate site recommendations.
Review translations
A written review is sent to the configured translation provider only when someone requests a translation. The original remains unchanged. The translated text, detected source language, and a fingerprint of the source are cached to avoid repeated processing.
Retailer links
Verified retailer links may be affiliate links. Opening one can allow the retailer to attribute a purchase to My Tennis Setup. Retailers do not influence community ratings.
Optional newsletter
The newsletter requires separate consent and sends at most one email per month. The address is not sold or shared for third-party advertising, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Your control
You can edit or delete your reviews and change your setup from your profile. Removing a review also removes its cached translations.
